Hydrotite CJ-1020 was used as a construction joint waterstop in the junction grade separation area on a railway expansion project. Hydrotite CJ-1020 was specified in part due to the high water table in the surrounding area. This required a waterstop that had a superior hydrophilic reaction and gradual expansion capability compared to other waterstops.
